News Tid-Bits - February 1, 2001
A little bit of new info on the
new song: The gang has finished recording the music (Lupus described it
as having a punk rock vibe), now all they need to do is add Jimmy's vocals.
Jimmy is still in the process of writing the lyrics. Also, if you were
afraid that this mystery TV show would involve students in college dealing
with social and moral issues, I'm gald to say that it's not true (uggghhh..
Saved by the Bell still gives me the shivers). Lupus said that he thought
that this new show was "brilliant," but he also said that don't expect
it to make it's way to Europe. Also, have you seen the new Venga
Boys video? Well Jimmy is in it, but since i haven't got the BOX, I've
never seen it before, so I can't confirm this. If ya got some info, feel
free to e-mail me. |

New Song Announcement - January 24, 2001
As reported earlier, Bloodhound
Gang has headed back into the studio to record a new song for an unspecified
TV show. Here is official word from bloodhoundgang.com about the matter:
"That's right, we entered the studio on Monday, January 22nd to start recording
a new song. The song is for an upcoming soundtrack to a TV show. We can't
reveal the show as of right now, but we'll announce the news right here
as soon as we can." As for "right here," Lupus is talking about bloodhoundgang.com.

Web Broadcast On www.breakthesilence.com - January 19, 2001
That's right kids, Lupus will be
the special guest on this Friday's edition of "Break The Silence" broadcast
on 94.3 FM (WJKL) in Chicago. Those of you not in Chicago can tune into
a live web broadcast of the show at www.breakthesilence.com.
Show starts at 8 PST (that's 10PM CST and 11PM EST - for you European kids,
that's 4AM Saturday for the UK and 5AM Saturday for mainland Europe - the
rest of you, well I can't remember all the time zones...get a book and
figure it out). Just click on the "listen live" or "live web broadcast"
buttons to hear it. |

I will be heading to Philly this weekend to record a new song for a TV
show...I won't release the info about it yet, since until they approve
it and use it, we won't know if they're going to and I hate giving you
kids too much info and then having everyone question it later when things
don't come true (which is often in the music industry) - anyone remember
me giving you dates the album would be released will understand my reluctance. |

Punches a Girl - November 30, 2000
According to kids in the HATEBOOK,
Lupus was seen punching a concert goer at one of the Bloodies' shows..
In respones Lupus posted that he reacted after he felt someone touch his
balls, not realizing that it was a girl, he just swung away. He striked
the girl, then she called the local authorities. Lupus was detained, but
then set free on bail. |

which took place on Thursday, September 28 in Hannover, Germany. |

"The Bad Touch" was nominated by
Billboard for its "Best Pop Video Of The Year" award. The other nominees
were; Fiona Apple with "Fast As You Can", Foo Fighters with "Learn To Fly",
Madonna with "Music", and Robbie Williams with "Rock DJ". The awards will
be announced on 11/10 in Los Angeles. |
